Soon, we will welcome the new 2025 Nissan Armada at Dick Smith Nissan of Columbia. It has been transformed to be tougher, stronger, more luxurious, powerful, technologically advanced, and safer. Simply put, the new Armada is indeed better than ever.
The Armada inherits 74 years of a legacy of off-road dominance for Nissan. It all began with the 1951 Patrol. For 2025, the Armada will take on the legacy of the original Patrol by elevating it to new heights.
For the 2025 model, we will see the first Armada PRO-4X. This is not a cosmetic upgrade but a fully formed off-road version of our largest SUV. The PRO-4X will feature all-terrain tires, an increased approach angle of 33.0 degrees, underbody skid plates, an electronic locking differential, and Adaptive Air Suspension. With a ground clearance of 9.6 inches, the 2025 Armada PRO-4X is set to conquer the rougher roads and trails of the Upcountry and beyond.
With an all-new platform comes new power. Underneath the hood of every 2025 Armada will be a twin-turbo, direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 engine. With 425 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, this engine will take you places with authority. Power from this engine is channeled through a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Power does translate into strong capability, as the 2025 Armada will be rated to tow up to 8,500 pounds. PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve grades also add both an Integrated Trailer Brake Controller and a standard Trailer Blind Spot Monitoring.
Safety and driver assistance take center stage in the 2025 Armada. This new model offers the available ProPILOT Assist 2.1, the company's most advanced hands-off assistance technology for freeway driving. In addition, Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard on all 2025 Armada models.
There is now more space inside the 2025 Armada. There is now 24 percent more cargo space behind the third row of seats—20.4 cubic feet, to be exact—than the 2024 model. With the second- and third-row seats down, that space increases to a total of 97.1 cubic feet of cargo space. The third-row room has also been increased.
However, you want to feel comfortable behind the wheel. The 2025 Armada will offer available massaging front seats, along with available 64-color ambient lighting. A new digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen will measure out to 12.3 inches each. When you get into the PRO-4X, Platinum, and Platinum Reserve grades, those screens are increased to 14.3 inches each. The infotainment system is now driven by Google Built-in, which enables Google’s apps to be used with your smartphone to connect to them. It also includes Google Maps for navigation and Google Assistant for search functions. To top it all off, you can equip your 2025 Armada with the class-exclusive available 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio System.
One look at the 2025 Armada's exterior reveals a bolder appearance and strong presence. This is further enhanced by plenty of details, such as a full-width LED taillight, wheels ranging from 18 to 22 inches, and optional two-tone roof treatments. All of these present a sense of refinement that speaks to your taste.
On the 2025 Armada, you now get advanced camera technologies to help you see virtually around walls and even through objects. The list of available camera technologies includes a 3D Around View Monitor, Front Wide View, and Invisible Hood View. The latter view is extremely helpful for placing the vehicle's wheels when off-roading, entering car wash tracks, or just navigating a tight drive-through lane.
The all-new 2025 Armada is on sale in late 2024. If you’re ready to experience the best SUV in our history, contact us at Dick Smith Nissan of Columbia to become one of the first in South Carolina to own one.
